"I was born with music inside me. Music was my blood. It was a force already within me when I arrived on the scene. It was a necessity-like food or water."

Although these words were written By Ray Charles, they apply equally to me. Every night while growing up, my father played his New Orleans Jazz and Blues 78s into the wee hours of the morning, and my best friends' dad, who owned several radio stations, loaded us up with all the pop 45 AM radio hits of the day. Once I heard Duane Eddy, surf music, the Beatles, my fate was sealed.

I was bitten equally hard by a different artistic bug later at UCB when I saw a nitrate 35 print of Citizen Kane - I suddenly knew I'd be a photographer/ filmmaker. So join me on a journey through a bit of my recent work; Brazilian bossa novas, R and B, blues... and new work with the Elastic Band - my space jazz funk group -  composed sections and extended jamming with super musicians playing at their highest level. And then take a tour through my new series "Nightscapes" - abstract visions your eyes have never seen before.
